   You can either choose to build a character "based" on a template, like Batman oder The Flash or you can create a character from scratch.

   What powers and abilities can I choose?

   The actually superpowers of a character are divided into 4 parts:

   • Power
     e.g. lightning, mental, ice, fire, hard light, wind
   • Power Source
     either a body part like head, chest oder hands or a weapon or part of your costume
   • Movement Type
     super speed, flight, or acrobatics
   • Abilities
     super strength, durability, resistance to certain elements, more stamina, enhanced metabolism

Just humans. However, character customization will give you several options to make your hero or villain look less like an ordinary human being.
