DCU Online free for PS3

I have read online that Wes Yanabi has said he plans to not charge monthly subscription fees for DCU Online for PS3 users (iow, free). Here's one such link: http://www.grandaiza.com/2009/09/ps3-dc ... -free.html

Have any of you guys heard this? Do you think there is any truth to it? If so, that's a good reason to own a PS3!

I don't know of any online game on the PS3 that charges fees for server access. If that were true, Dragon Age: Origins, M.A.G, Bad Company 2 and countless other games would never of sold as well. Plus, it's always been Sony's selling point against the XBox 360, because they do charge for online access.

They have released that it will costs 12,99 a month. Since this is the first real MMO for a PS3 it will be interesting to see how it will work out.
